Contract Custom Fields

Contract custom fields allow you to capture additional information at the contract level. You can create custom fields for the overall contract and at the item level. These fields are fully customizable and can be configured to match your store’s workflow.

Documentation:

  1. Navigate to Settings

    • Go to Settings > Contracts.

  2. Locate the Custom Fields/Customizations Section

    • You will see two sections:

      • Contract Custom Fields (applies to the entire contract).

      • Contract Item Custom Fields (applies to individual items within a contract).

  3. Add a New Field

    • Click + New Field.

  4. Enter a Label

    • Provide a name for the custom field.

    • A key will automatically generate using the label name for convenience.

  5. Select Field Type & Location

    • Choose the field type (e.g., text, checkbox, choice, URL).

    • Decide where the field will appear.

    • This determines the type of data that can be entered into the field.

  6. Set Field Dependencies (Optional)

    • You can configure a custom field to depend on another field.

    • For example, the field will only appear if a related field has a value.

  7. Save & View in Contracts

    • Once configured, your custom fields will appear when creating or editing contracts.

    • Contract custom fields will display at the contract level.

    • Contract item custom fields will display within each individual item in the contract.

Note: You can also view these custom contract details on the associated Shopify product page. Open the product, click More Actions > View Reselly Fields, and you’ll see the contract details along with your custom fields.
